From hide to heel
At MARITZA, genuine leather is where everything begins. Most shoemakers buy their leather ready-made. We make ours at Derimer, our own tannery, so every pair starts with 100% real leather we control from the very first hide.
Running our own tannery lets us oversee quality at every stage, from selecting raw hides through dyeing, finishing and the final inspection. The result is consistent, fully traceable genuine leather in every upper, lining and sole. No middlemen, no shortcuts.
