Women's leather footwear made under your own brand — by hand, in Türkiye, with leather from our own tannery.
What private label means here
Private label production means the shoes are made by MARITZA and sold under your brand, not ours. The style can begin from a model already in our collection, or from a design of your own. Either way the finished pairs leave the factory carrying your name.
This is the alternative to ordering from the published range. Buying the collection means choosing from what exists in EU 35–41 and shipping it as it is; private label means the model, the leather, the colour and the packaging are decided with you before anything is cut.
What you can specify
Four things are yours to decide. Everything else follows the process we publish in full.
- The design. Pattern making can start from your sketch or technical pack, or from a modification of a published MARITZA model.
- The last. A last can be developed for the fit you want and kept for your repeat orders, rather than rebuilt each season.
- The leather and colour. Chosen and produced through Derimer, our own tannery — so the colour is made for the order rather than sourced to match it.
- The branding. Insole print or deboss, tongue label, printed shoebox and hang tags, so the packaging arrives under your name too.
How a project runs
The production stages are the same eight we publish on the craftsmanship page; private label adds a brief and an approval at the front.
- Brief. Tell us the model you have in mind, the quantity and the delivery window you are working to.
- Design and pattern. The model is drawn, lasts are prepared for each size and form, and cutting templates are made for every leather panel.
- Leather and colour. Hides are selected and inspected for surface flaws, with colour and texture matched across the pair.
- Sample. Arranged case by case once we know which styles you are working with.
- Approval. Production follows your sign-off on the sample.
- Production. Hand cutting, upper stitching, lasting and sole assembly — a leather or rubber sole, hand-glued and stitched where needed.
- Quality control. Comfort, stitch quality, sole strength and appearance are inspected, and only flawless pairs are sent for packing.
- Branding, packing and shipping. Your branding is applied, the pairs are boxed and the order ships to your market.

Our own tannery
Most shoemakers buy leather ready-made. Ours comes from Derimer, our own tannery, so the material is controlled from the raw hide with no intermediary in between.

MARITZA has manufactured in Çorlu, Tekirdağ since 1993. Every pair is shaped and finished entirely by hand, one at a time, through eight published stages.

Minimums, samples and pricing
There is no fixed minimum order quantity. What is workable depends on the style and the run size — a first run for one boutique and a repeat programme are not the same conversation — so we confirm it with you per project instead of publishing a number that would be wrong for most of them.
Samples are available and arranged once we know which styles you are working with. Pricing is quoted per inquiry. We would rather answer these precisely for your order than post figures on a page.

Where are private label orders manufactured?
In Çorlu, Tekirdağ, Türkiye, where MARITZA has manufactured since 1993. Every pair is made by hand through eight stages, and the leather comes from Derimer, the company's own tannery.
Are samples available before production?
Yes. Samples are available and arranged case by case once MARITZA knows which styles you are working with. Sample terms are confirmed with you as part of the project rather than published as fixed figures.
