Mules and slides in the MARITZA range
These are the lightest constructions in the range: no back, no fastening, and the whole shoe resting on the cut of the vamp. That leaves very little to hide behind, so the leather and the lasting have to be right — which is why they are cut and closed by the same hands as the heels.
The square-toe mule on a sculpted spool heel is the signature shape here. Beside it sit pointed mules and flat slides, which carry ornament and print better than any other category in the range.

The same print, flat and heeled
The snake-print mule is made as a pointed flat and as a pointed stiletto from one print run, and the western buckle slide as a flat and a kitten. Ornament — buckles, hardware, bows — is applied at finishing, so a change of trim is a smaller change than a change of last.
